Evaluation Process
To be evaluated for PTSD under the CUP:
- Confirm your diagnosis with your primary care provider, psychiatrist, or other qualified clinician
- Book a telehealth evaluation with a CURT-registered physician
- Bring documentation: diagnosis records, list of prior treatments, current medications
- Physician evaluates whether cannabis is appropriate for your case
- If certified, physician enters you in CURT and you can access a TX-licensed dispensary
What to Bring to Your Evaluation
- Medical records confirming the PTSD diagnosis
- List of medications tried and their outcomes
- Government-issued Texas ID
- Insurance card (optional — Texas CUP is not covered by insurance, but useful for the physician’s intake)
